Collaboration Brew Days
Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day® is an international celebration of women and non-binary folks in the alcohol and fermented beverage industry. Every year, teams come together for Collaboration Brew Day to craft a variety of beverages—from beer and wine to cider, spirits, and beyond—all in support of raising funds for Pink Boots scholarships. This supports our mission to assist, inspire, and encourage the professional development and education of women and non-binary folks in our industry.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
We invite everyone in the fermented beverage industry — regardless of gender identity — from breweries, cideries, wineries, distilleries, and kombucha makers to craft exceptional beverages with us.
How Do I Participate?
Register Your Team
Your official registration adds your business to the Google map so enthusiasts can find you and your finished beverage! Simply register online, put together your team, then formulate your own special Pink Boots beverage recipe. When registering make sure to select 'Canada Chapter' from the 'Which Chapter Should This Donation Benefit?' drop down. This ensures 50% of your donation will go towards scholarships for Canadian members.
**Registering also authorizes your team to use the trademarked Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day logo® and our media kit. Any fermented organization that does not register and uses this logo to promote sales, is in violation of trademark infringement.

Order the Annual Hop Blend
Order the Annual Hop Blend from Yakima Chief Hops or the Pink Boots Malt from Country Malt Group. Purchasing does not automatically register your organization. You still must fill out the registration form to earn permission to use the Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day logo and our promotional resources. You can also order previous years’ blends. They are all great!
(Please note that you do not need to order the blend, but by purchasing it $1 from every bag is donated to Pink Boots!)

The Pink Boots Malt is a seasonal craft base malt product, appropriate for both brewing and distilling. Each year, it will highlight a different barley variety with subtle differences in base malt characteristics. (Please note that you do not need to order the blend, but with every bag sold in Canada, CMG is donating $5.00 to the Pink Boots Society CANADA scholarship fund.)

Just a heads up, purchasing the Pink Boots Hop Blend or malt isn't considered a donation—it goes straight to the National chapter, not us. Remember, when donating, specify it's for the CANADA Chapter!

Pink Boots Hop Blend
Yakima Chief Hops Pink Boots Blend has become a well-known movement in the hop community, as brewers from all over the world incorporate this hop blend into recipes each year in celebration and support of women in the brewing industry. For Pink Boots Society Canada Chapter and Yakima Chief Hops (YCH), creating the blend is half the fun, and quite the celebration itself.
Developing a hop blend is an art, and typically a more exclusive occasion where a small number of industry professionals gather around a table to rub, sniff and select from an array of hop varieties.

Pink Boots Malt Blend
As part of a global family of brands, Canada Malting Co., Great Western Malting, and Country Malt Group all share the same values of diversity, equity and inclusion. With one foot in the farming community and the other placed firmly in the craft beverage industry, we’re passionate about empowering women and non-binary individuals across the supply chain; from the barley fields to our malthouses, and from our distribution centers to the taprooms.
The Pink Boots Malt was born from the idea to involve more members of the industry in our efforts to uplift women and non-binary colleagues, as malt is a core ingredient for both brewers and distillers. With each bag purchased, a donation is made to the Pink Boots Society scholarship fund in the US and Canada to support their mission: to assist, inspire and encourage women and non-binary individuals in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry.
The Pink Boots Malt is a seasonal craft base malt product, appropriate for both brewing and distilling. Each year, it will highlight a different barley variety and subtle differences in base malt characteristics.
The 2024 Pink Boots Malt features the Odyssey barley variety grown across the Pacific Northwest. Originally from the UK, Odyssey is a well-established variety perfect for creating a well-balanced, low color malt. Its unique characteristics have helped to produce a low-GN, high extract Pilsen-style malt product, appropriate for a range of beer and whiskey styles.
